About Redding
Redding is a small village between Polmont and Falkirk, set on the south side of the main urban area in a largely residential setting.
The village's name is associated with the Redding Pit disaster of 1923, when 40 miners lost their lives in a flooding at the Redding Colliery - one of Scotland's worst mining tragedies.
