Juniper Green is a village on the Water of Leith between Colinton and Currie, absorbed into Edinburgh in 1920 but retaining its own community identity.

The village sits in the Water of Leith valley, with the river walkway passing through and connecting it to the wider path network.

Juniper Green has a primary school, a village hall and local shops and the Union Canal towpath runs nearby for walking and cycling.
