About Monikie
Monikie is a small rural village in southern Angus, a few miles north of Carnoustie, best known today for Monikie Country Park - a popular reservoir-based leisure site managed by Angus Council with sailing, cycling and walking facilities.
The village itself is small and agricultural in character, sitting in the gently rolling countryside between the Sidlaw Hills and the Angus coast.
