About Flooring Specialists

A flooring specialist supplies and installs all types of flooring - hardwood, engineered wood, laminate, vinyl, luxury vinyl tile and resin, across residential and commercial properties.

Getting the subfloor preparation right is the most important part of any flooring job - a specialist who takes time on that stage will produce a result that lasts.

Ask about the warranty on both the product and the installation and confirm whether furniture moving, door trimming and disposal of old flooring are included in the quote.

Also covers:
  • flooring installation
  • wood flooring
  • vinyl flooring
  • laminate flooring

About Brechin

Brechin is a small city in northwestern Angus, sitting on the South Esk about 26 miles north of Dundee - one of Scotland's smallest cities by population, its status deriving from its ancient cathedral.

Brechin Cathedral dates from the 11th century and the round tower beside it is one of only two Irish-style round towers on mainland Scotland, a remarkable survival from the early medieval church.

The town has a market-town character with independent shops, a good secondary school and easy road access to Forfar, Montrose and the A90.

Brechin Castle, seat of the Dalhousie estate, sits above the river and the surrounding countryside offers good walking through the Strathmore foothills and the glens beyond.

About Angus

Angus coat of arms(opens in new tab)

Angus is a council area on the east coast of Scotland, stretching from the North Sea shoreline inland through the fertile Strathmore valley to the high ground of the Angus Glens and the fringes of the Cairngorms.

Forfar is the county town and administrative centre, while Arbroath on the coast is the largest settlement - a town with deep historical significance as the place where the Declaration of Arbroath was signed in 1320.

The area divides naturally into three bands: the coastal strip with its harbours, beaches and golf links; the broad agricultural plain of Strathmore running through the middle; and the Highland glens - Clova, Prosen, Isla, Esk and Lethnot - that reach northward into the mountains.

Angus has a strong identity shaped by farming, fishing and food - the Arbroath smokie and the Forfar bridie are both nationally recognised and the soft fruit industry across the Strathmore valley has been a mainstay for generations.

Transport links include the main east coast rail line serving Arbroath, Carnoustie and Montrose, the A90 dual carriageway connecting Dundee to Aberdeen and a network of rural roads that reach into some of the most scenic and least-visited parts of Highland Scotland.
