Rosemount is one of Aberdeen's most characterful inner-city neighbourhoods. Its main thoroughfare, Rosemount Place, is lined with independent shops, cafes and small businesses that give the area a distinctive local feel.
The housing stock is predominantly Victorian and Edwardian granite tenements and terraced houses, many featuring the silvery granite that gives Aberdeen its 'Granite City' nickname.

Transport connections include Aberdeen International Airport at Dyce, a main-line railway station with services to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and London and the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route which has transformed road access around the city.
