Harling is one of Scotland's most common wall finishes and when it cracks, blows or starts to let in damp, getting it patched or replaced promptly prevents more expensive damage to the masonry underneath.
Ask whether they use traditional lime harling or modern cement render - on older stone buildings, lime-based finishes allow the walls to breathe and avoid the moisture problems that cement can cause.

About Foxbar
Foxbar is a residential area on the southern edge of Paisley, built on raised ground with views across the town to the Clyde valley and the hills beyond.
The neighbourhood was developed primarily in the 1960s and 1970s as a large-scale housing scheme and has undergone significant regeneration in recent decades, with investment in housing stock, public spaces and community facilities.

Transport links are excellent. Glasgow Airport sits within the council boundary at Abbotsinch, the M8 motorway crosses the area east to west and railway lines connect Paisley, Johnstone and the surrounding towns to Glasgow Central in as little as ten minutes - making Renfrewshire one of the most accessible parts of the Glasgow city region.
