About Aberfeldy
Aberfeldy is a small town on the River Tay in Highland Perthshire, about 15 miles west of Pitlochry.
The town is known for the General Wade bridge of 1733, one of Scotland's finest military bridges and for Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery, which occupies a prominent site near the town centre.
Aberfeldy has a genuine year-round community with a good range of local services - shops, cafes, a cinema, a swimming pool and a secondary school - making it well-equipped for its size.
The surrounding landscape, including the Birks of Aberfeldy woodland walk immortalised by Robert Burns, gives the town a particularly attractive setting.

Transport links converge on Perth, where the M90, A9 and main rail lines from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Inverness meet, making the city one of the best-connected in Scotland - though the more remote Highland communities depend on the A9 trunk road and its long-awaited dualling programme.
