Harling is one of Scotland's most common wall finishes and when it cracks, blows or starts to let in damp, getting it patched or replaced promptly prevents more expensive damage to the masonry underneath.

Almondbank is a small village on the River Almond, about 4 miles west of Perth, in the flat farming country of the Almond valley.
The village is quiet and largely residential, with limited local services but easy access to Perth via the A85.
