About Whiteinch

Whiteinch is a west-end riverside neighbourhood on the north bank of the Clyde, with a shipbuilding and engineering heritage that shaped its tight-knit community through much of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Today it is a largely residential area with good access to the Clyde Tunnel, Victoria Park and the shops and transport links of nearby Partick.

Properties include traditional sandstone tenements, inter-war housing and some modern developments, with Victoria Park providing an attractive green space.

The area is well connected by bus and is close to the Clyde Tunnel for south-side access and Partick interchange for rail and subway.

Glasgow Airport at Paisley is a short drive from the city centre.

Despite its size, Glasgow retains a strong sense of community and a distinctive warmth. It is a city proud of its working-class roots, its humour and its cultural ambition - a place that has reinvented itself repeatedly and continues to do so.
