Eastfield is a small residential area on Edinburgh's eastern edge, sitting between Joppa and Musselburgh on the inland side of the coast road.

The area is primarily made up of mid-twentieth-century housing, with a mix of council-built homes and later private developments.

Eastfield's position gives it easy access to the Portobello and Musselburgh coastline, and it is well served by buses into Edinburgh city centre.

The neighbourhood sits close to the boundary with East Lothian, and many residents use Musselburgh's shops, schools, and amenities as readily as Edinburgh's.
